2006 Yamaha RS Venture Sound Effects Library

The Yamaha RS Venture snowmobile audio library features 290 sound fx of a 2006 Japanese snowmobile in 9.86 gigabytes. It depicts the sound of its carbureted 3-cylinder horizontal in-line 4-stroke engine in 24 synchronized takes.

A total of 9 onboard perspectives showcase the snowmobile driving at slow, medium, and fast speeds driving and performing ramps with microphones placed in the engine, exhaust, driver seat, and bogie. The 6 exterior perspectives arrange microphones at four positions capturing approaching, departing, passing by, starting, and stopping.

All clips include Soundminer and BWAV metadata as well as MacOS spotlight comments. The collection is packaged with Pro Tools and Reaper sessions with all fx pre-aligned to allow editors to begin mixing and editing immediately.
