As in games, non-speech audio can be used to create realistic environments for research, education and practicing in simulators and VR demonstrators. We help create customized, communicative and dynamic soundscapes which continuously provide the user with information. Recently we did just that whilst participating in a research project with Volvo Cars and Rise Interactive, aiming to examine the potential in sound as a medium for communication in highly automated cars. In the past years we have worked with the automotive industry, defense contractors and, in fact, many of today’s Formula One drivers have practiced in simulators with our audio.
