Description
1934 Bristol Blenheim Mk I Sound Effects Library
The Bristol Blenheim propellor bomber sound library includes 233 clips in 15.46 gigabytes of audio. This 1934 British plane – also known as the Beaufort and Fairchild Bolingbroke – features recordings of two 905 horsepower Bristol Mercury XV radial piston engines.
The sound bundle gathers 17 tandem takes of interior and exterior recordings. The 7 onboard perspectives arrange microphones in the cockpit, turret, and cannon flying at fast, medium, and slow speeds. The exterior microphones include 9 perspectives and 19 channels of audio. Those takes depict the aircraft starting, idling, taxiing, taking off, flying by, and landing and turning off. Also included are static recordings of idling at various RPMs with additional exhaust perspectives. The collection also offers a variety of performed effects of hatches, brakes, throttle, and more, with every take embedded with Soundminer, BWAV, and MacOS Finder metadata.
