The V8 CARS sound library, a collaboration with BOOM Library, features the legendary sound of classics like the 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle big block and small block, 1966 Ford Mustang, 1968 Plymouth Satellite, 1968 Ford Galaxie, 1976 Buick Regal, 1997 Chevrolet Express 1500 van, 2007 Dodge Durango SUV  and the sheer fury of a 750 horse-power 2007 Ford Shelby GT500, now available in astonishing definition and sublime detail.

All onboard engine recordings include slow, medium, fast, steady and other sounds from the engine, exhaust and interior perspective. The exterior features approaches, turning corners, distant sounds, passes, reverses, starts and rev-ups. Additional sounds like handling, horns and more round off the package.

 What’s so special about this library?

You’ll know it when you hear it: from their unmistakable motor idling sound to the uncompromising roar at full speed, the early 70s muscle car sound is both unique in character and hard to come by, especially captured in this level of detail.
