1968 AMC Javelin Sound Effects Library

The 1968 American AMC Javelin sound fx collection includes 334 clips in 18.48 gigabytes of audio. Also known as Rambler Javelin, Javelin 79-K, and VAM Javelin, it showcases the sound of its 343 c.i. V8 engine with 280 horsepower and a 4-bbl carburetor.

The sound bundle includes a total of 16 synchronized takes, each of which is aligned in Pro Tools and Reaper sessions. 14 onboard perspectives (including an Ambisonic POV) share field recordings from the exhaust, engine, and interior while driving with steady RPMs, gearshifts, and ramps. 8 exterior perspectives at multiple positions on corners and straightaways depict departures, arrivals, passes, and idles. Also included are stereo mixes of the interior, engine, and exhaust, as well as performed fx.

Each clip is embedded with full Soundminer, BWAV, and MacOS Finder metadata.
