Paul Virostek Joins Pole Position Production

We have worked hard and put a lot of heart and effort into our libraries during the years, in order to get them up to a good level and to be functional for both games and film.

Our next step has been to improve our metadata. It’s with great pride that we officially can announce that Paul Virostek is part of the Pole team! Paul is helping us with editing, file naming and metadata, and with his big expertise and long experience in this area, this is a welcome addition and helps us to further improve the quality of our libraries.

For those of you who don’t know Paul, he has been recording and mastering sound effects since 1996 for films such as for Batman Begins, Ali, and Glory Road. He shares his collection of sounds on Airborne Sound and hosts a sound library portal for the pro audio community on Sound Effects Search. Paul also writes about the craft of capturing, mastering, and sharing sound effects on the Creative Field Recording blog, and is the author of three books about field recording and sharing sound online.

So without a doubt, Paul is the right person for the job!
